It all started on a rainy Tuesday, sitting in a busy coffee shop while waiting for the weather to clear. That’s where we met her—a friendly woman who looked stylish but a bit tired, like she’d had a long day. We noticed the simple ring on her finger and complimented her.
She smiled and said, “Thank you, but honestly, I wish it was something better. It’s just a fake stone. I’ve been searching everywhere for nice, real-looking jewelry that doesn’t cost a fortune. I want something that feels special, that I can afford, and that isn’t just another cheap copy.”
Her words really hit home. We’d both been in that same situation ourselves—looking around shops, being shown a lot of flashy stuff that either broke the bank or didn’t feel right. Everything affordable was made with stones that looked dull, and all the nice things were way out of reach. Whenever we asked about things like “genuine stones” or “is this certified?” people would just say, “Most customers don’t care.”

That’s how Meiara was born. We decided every ring, earring, and necklace we sell should make the person wearing it feel proud, not worried about whether it’s “real” or “fake.” We insist on proper materials and real certification for everything we make.
